..and I've found all six of them. They really look quite out of place -- I'm not sure what the city was thinking planting these.
Here's the big one in St. David Park near Salamanca (where the market is).
Here's one in Sandy Bay with an office supplies store built around it.
And here are four more in the center median of Sandy Bay Rd., reminding inhabitants that they are in the tropics. (Yeah right!)
Also, I've noticed that The Mercury, Hobart's newspaper, highly values its sensationalist storefront headlines. They're usually pretty funny: "WHAT IT MEANS"
Brightly colored houses and buildings are fairly common around here. Here's my favorite example..I pass by it almost every day:

Anyway...a bunch of us threw a surprise party for a girl's 23rd birthday on Monday night. We had a barbie, but no shrimp. Take careful note of the variances in manliness depicted in this image. On the left, you've got Colorado Phil with his tightly-manscaped handlebar mustache and cheap American beer shirt. On the right is John-O, who wears a strawberry apron.
