Half Way Home

My stay in Tassie is half finished as classes speed up and I'm bogged down with papers and projects. The last week has been pretty mundane and the weather has been crazy. The last three days Hobart's seen sustained 40mph winds, and it's been raining on and off all day today. I still have yet to see any lightning or hear thunder though. It's also a bit funny when it's nearly 70 degrees (Fahrenheit) in town but you can still see snow on Mt Wellington. Here's a couple photos from the last week. The first was from Monopoly night at my house -- I lost miserably after landing on a housed Boardwalk.

This is the Saturday market in Salamanca (between Hobart and Sandy Bay). I'll get more photos of this soon.

And on Saturday night I went to a concert with some friends. Faker -- a rock band from Sydney was headlining. It was a pretty awesome show in a fairly small venue.

This was also at the Faker show -- it's part of a project I'm working on for my photography class.
